Building Permit Fee Waiver
Building permit fees up to $300 may be waived for applicants. Building permits must be obtained before the fee can be waived.
Utility Improvements Support
The Town will consider on a case-by-case basis making business-specific utility improvements within that business zone. Maintenance, improvements and additional lines may be required by businesses or in expanding current businesses. This case-by-case basis is applicable only to businesses creating a minimum of 25 permanent jobs within the Town of Pulaski. The Town of Pulaski reserves the right to make all, partial or no utility improvements in each case.
Rehabilitated Real Estate Tax Abatement
A tax exemption on the increase in assessed property value resulting from rehabilitation of commercial and industrial buildings. This will enhance the option of reusing older buildings, of which many are designated historic structures within the Town's commercial historic district. Limited to a five year period and the rehabilitation costs must be at least $10,000.
Business Occupation License Fee Rebate
A full rebate of occupational license fees for businesses locating within the proposed zone. This is intended to help reduce startup costs for new businesses. The rebate is limited to the first two years of operation only.
