The Pulaski Yankees have been gearing up for the fast approaching 2019 season, and not just on the field. This season promises to be one of the most exciting yet for fans, with a slate of weekly promotions scheduled for all 34 home games at Calfee Park.
With a new and improved line-up of promotions, fans can expect to have something to look forward to every day of the week. Sunday Evening Baseball will focus on the general love of baseball, with exciting things planned each week. Mondays will be known as Pinstripe Pals Mondays; presented by the Community Health Center of the NRV, members of the Pulaski Yankees kids club will receive free admission to all Monday games and will get to run the bases after the final out of the game. Tuesdays are now Two-sdays, which means certain concession items will be $2 and buying one general admission ticket will get you a second for $2. Winning Wednesdays will feature different ways for fans to leave the game a winner, such as the lucky hot dog “golden ticket” promotion. Thirsty Thursdays will see craft and fountain drinks discounted, while Fan-omenal Fridays will see fan favorite promotions return, along with family-friendly promotions as well. Finally, Super Saturdays will focus on giveaways for attendees of every Saturday home game this season.
And if you think this new promotional schedule is amazing, there’s even more in store for this season. Perhaps one of the most exciting additions to the season’s schedule are celebrity appearances. On June 30th Dwier Brown, the actor who played John Kinsella in Field of Dreams will be visiting Calfee Park. Following his visit, former New York Yankee and 19-year major league veteran Ken Griffey Sr. will be at Calfee Park on July 21st. There will even be pre-game meet and greet packages available for fans, but you’d better act quickly! These packages will likely be a hot item and there are a limited quantity.
Opening weekend itself looks to be packed with fan activities as well. Giveaways, live music, autograph sessions and inflatables for the kids will be entertaining fans all weekend long when they aren’t watching one of the games. Live music will also be provided on several Thirsty Thursdays throughout the season, with bands yet to be decided.
If these changes and activities weren’t enough you can also look forward to multiple giveaways and themed nights throughout the season and two series dedicated to military appreciation and community relations efforts. If you’re already thinking about purchasing game tickets you can do so
here, by phone at (540) 980-1070, or at the Pulaski Yankees office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also find detailed info about 2019 promotions on the
