The 2A State Baseball Finals are Back in Calfee Park

For the third year in a row, the 2A Baseball State Semifinals will be played at Motor Mile Field at Calfee Park. The Pulaski Yankees and Calfee Park will host the Virginia High School State League Tournament on Friday, June 7th.
The teams to take part in the Tournament are yet to be decided, but the schedule for the day is already set. 10 a.m. will mark the beginning of Game 1 with Game 2 kicking off at 1 p.m. Gates at Motor Mile Field at Calfee Park will open at 9 a.m.
Calfee Park concession stands will be open, and tickets for the day will be $10. No outside food or drinks may be brought into the ballpark.
“We look forward to again hosting the WHSL semifinals at Calfee Park,” said Pulaski Yankees General Manager Betsy Haugh. “This is an exciting time of the year for high school baseball, and we can’t wait to have these athletes compete at the ballpark.”
The Town of Pulaski looks forward to seeing Calfee Park back in action once again, especially now after extensive renovations promise to provide ballpark visitors with an even better baseball experience.
The 2019 Pulaski Yankees season begins on June 18th at Johnson City. The Yankees home opener at Motor Mile Field at Calfee Park is Friday, June 21st vs. Bluefield.
