Boil Water Notice in Effect for Next 48 Hours

*Update*
Notice to Residents: Public Works is still working to resolve an issue with the pump station located near Calfee Park. Any ongoing disruption in water service is not due to the breaks that occurred yesterday; those have been repaired.
A Fire Department truck will be setting up in the lower parking lot at Calfee Park from 3 – 6 today, August 27th to provide water to residents who still do not have access to water. For those who intend to visit, the Fire Department has several gallon jugs of water available to those residents who are not able to bring their own containers. We hope to have everything resolved today and have water services restored for residents that continue to be affected.

*Update* -The water main break on Washington Avenue was repaired at around 6 p.m. yesterday, August 26th. One of our pump stations near Calfee Park went through an emergency automatic shutoff this morning due to no water being in the pump. The pump has now been turned back on and will take a couple of hours to fill. If you live on the south side of Town, you may continue to experience low to no water pressure until this pump station is back to its normal operating capacity.

Below is the Boil Water Notice associated with the ongoing repairs being made to a water main break on Washington Avenue. This notice will be in effect for the next 48 hours.

Notice to Residents: A water main break occurred early this morning near our train station. A portion of Washington Avenue has been closed off while crews have been on site working to make repairs as swiftly as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimate for when repairs will be completed.
When service has been restored, you will receive a phone call or text message notifying you of a boil notice that will be implemented if you live in the affected area for the next 48 hours. We will update this article when repairs have been completed and the street has been opened for traffic.
