The Pulaski Senior Center had a meeting on Friday with Pulaski Area Transit to talk about the upcoming changes to public transit routes in and around the Pulaski area, including a few quality of life changes. Along with the addition of several stops at Randolph, Dora Highway, Main Street and East Main Street, there are plans to make stops much more friendly and accessible to senior citizens. Transit times have also been adjusted to begin a little earlier each day, at around 6:30 a.m.
They also discussed the need for shelters and benches at stops. While the grant applications for these beneficial additions to stops are in the works, Pulaski Area Transit must work with property owners to ensure they can be installed.
With a large group there, there was plenty of constructive discussion happening. And of course, the seniors enjoyed some delicious food as well!
