Spring has almost sprung, and the
Pulaski Yankees are gearing up for the start of their new season on June 18
against the Johnson City Cardinals at TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Tennessee.
Their home opener at Calfee Park will be on June 21st in a match-up
against the Bluefield Blue Jays. But before the season can begin, Calfee Park has
a few things to finish up.
Recently the park began renovations
on several parts of the park. The biggest change will be the addition of
seating; the renovations will add roughly 350 new seats along the third base
line, along with a three tier party deck along left field. The new seating will
allow more fans in the ballpark at once, leading to a more immersive experience
for the fans.
The previous souvenir trailer will
also be replaced by a permanent walk-in store, making the experience of buying
Yankees gear much more enjoyable. The park is very excited for these
renovations, and expect them to be completed before the Yankee’s season begins.
Even more exciting, the park will undergo more renovations after this season.
The Yankees themselves are very
excited about the renovations as well, giving them the chance to put on a good
performance for more fans. They’ll have the whole season to take advantage of
the changes, with 34 home games along with 34 road games. The season will last
until their final game, which is away at Princeton on August 28th.
With weather starting to warm up,
fans can look forward to adding a trip to Calfee Park to their schedules soon.
The Yankees hold a special place in the hearts of many in Pulaski, so the new
season will be welcomed with open arms. If you want to find out more such as
