Truck and Tractor Show Comes to Pulaski

Ratcliffe Museum to Host Truck and Tractor Show

There are so many unique things you can do when the weather starts to warm, no matter where you are. At the beach? Go out and get a tan or swim in the ocean. In the city? Grab a ticket to go see a baseball game or go for a run on a paved trail. In Pulaski? Go to the Ratcliffe Transportation Museum’s Antique Truck and Tractor Show!

If you guessed that the gentlemen who run the Transportation Museum love cars, trucks and tractors, of course you’d be right. Having been to innumerable shows themselves, they decided to take a spin at hosting one right here in Pulaski. But why a truck show over a car show? Well, Pulaski already hosts the Summer Cruise-Ins, so they didn’t want a repeat of that show with the same cars. Plus, truck shows are relatively uncommon these days.

They’re planning on around 25+ vehicles making their appearance on the weekend of the show, with around 15 big trucks, with the rest of the show being made up of antique tractors and several cars. The museum has held one truck show in the past in 2013, which was held in conjunction with the Pulaski Cruise-Ins previously mentioned.

Along with the vehicles on show, you can expect some top notch food and drink while you’re enjoying the event. There will also be some great door prizes available that spectators will have a chance to take home with them. And if that wasn’t enough for an enjoyable evening, the Ratcliffe Museum itself will also be open for tours. If you find yourself looking for something fun to do on the weekend of May 3rd, mark your calendar!

Aside from the event in May, the Ratcliffe also offers several services alongside their museum. In particular, you can purchase a brick to be engraved in honor of a person or organization you’d like to be represented in Pulaski. The engraved bricks are located directly across from the museum, and can be purchased in two sizes, 8x8 and 4x8. 8x8 bricks will cost $200 each, while the 4x8 bricks are $100 each.
